Housing is available only
to individuals and groups conducting research or
education activities during their stay. The
Kimbel Lodge (conference center) is available to
non-profit organizations when the building is not
being used by University research and education
groups. |

bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, and living/dining
room. Capacity of each cottage is 6 persons. |

DORMS:
Dorms A and
B have
four bedrooms (each with four beds), two bathrooms, a
fully-equipped kitchen, and living/dining area.
Dorm C has ten bedrooms (each with two beds), four
bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, and living/dining
room. Capacity for Dorm C is 20 persons and
capacity for both
Dorm A and
B is 16 persons. |

KIMBEL LODGE: The
conference center accommodates meetings for up to 100
person. It has a fully- equipped kitchen, ice
maker, chairs, tables, bathrooms, and heated/cooled
main room. Audio-visual equipment is available
upon request. Same rate applies whether
use is for 1 hour or 24 hours. |

IMPORTANT POLICIES - PLEASE READ
Effective September 2006
-
Rates are for one bed only. If
an individual wants exclusive occupancy of a room or
unit, payment for all other beds is required.
-
Since University groups have
priority, other reservations cannot be confirmed
until 2 weeks before the requested date.
-
A 10 day cancellation notice is
necessary to avoid being billed for 50% of the cost
of the reservation.
-
Children under the age of 10 will
not be charged if they stay with their parents.
-
No linens or towels are provided;
pillows and blankets are available.
-
No food service is available on
site; restaurants and grocery stores are less than a
five mile drive.
-
Before departure, users must sweep floors, clean
kitchen, place trash in cans on porch, and separate
recyclables into labeled trash cans located in
island between the dorms.

Billing information must be provided
with your check-out sheet.

days notice and a preparation charge of $30/boat.
