post-Hugo pineseedlings (3-6 ft tall), average spacing 2-5 ft. Numerousgum trees
5-10 ft tall. Occasional oak (20-30 ft tall). Ground cover of ferns, corn-like
plant, and occasional clumps of Johnson-like grass. Numerous fallen logs and
branches. Litter of pine needles, cones, and leaves.

oaks, young gum (10-40 ft tall). Pines are spaced 10-20 ft apart. Oaks further
apart and gum somewhat more closely spaced. Understory of young post-Hugo pines
(2-4 ft tall). Dense cover of coarse grass. Litter of pine needles and leaves.
Some logs and dead branches on the ground.
