Land Use - Coastal Ecosystem Study (LU-CES)

This link will connect you to a prototype Web-based data & information dissemination server maintained in support of the NOAA-funded LU-CES program. The South Atlantic Bight, Land Use-Coastal Ecosystem Study (LU-CES) is a five-year, multidisciplinary (in the broadest sense = natural and social sciences) research program funded by NOAA Coastal Ocean Program to determine the mechanisms by which changing land uses (e.g., from agricultural to suburban), brought about rapidly increasing population growth and development in the southeastern US, will affect coastal marine resources.
