The transfer of archived mail boxes is working - it too will take time, but some
of you will start to see these appearing in the morning (Ths). I suspect most if
not all archived mailboxes will be restored by late Friday. They will be
immediately visible on the web mail client (from the Dept Home Page). If you are
using another mail client (Firefox, Outlook, etc), you may need to synchronize
your mail boxes - ask if you need help.
10/31 8:20AM: Update Email Server biol.sc.edu
All mail accounts should now be active with Inboxes. Restoring archived
mailboxes (saved mail) will begin today; priority is being given to this task.

The biology mail server crashed over the weekend. Clients need to contact John Alam (7-7068) to get a new password setup!! I'm helping him reconstruct all old
mail from backups, but the first step is to get all the users accounts set back
up. Anyone else you know down there that has a biology email account will need
to the same.
